At Royal Mail, the festive season is our busiest time of the year, and our seasonal workers play a vital role in ensuring that every Christmas card and present reaches its destination. As a Mail Sorter in Chelmsford, you’ll be working at the heart of our operations to help bring Christmas to life across the nation.
Key Responsibilities:
Unload mail and packages from delivery vans.
Move and sort mail and packages within our processing centres.
Ensure efficient handling of Christmas deliveries.
About You:
Organised and Efficient: Thrive in a fast-paced environment and meet tight deadlines.
Flexible and Adaptable: Ability to switch tasks during shifts as needed.
Strong and Physically Fit: Capable of pushing trolleys weighing up to 250kg and lifting/moving mail bags up to 11kg.
Endurance: Comfortable with extended periods of walking and standing.
Shift Patterns Available:
06:00 - 14:00
You must be available to work 5 out of 7 days.
