About Us

We are seeking a dedicated Executive Support Officer to join our team and provide essential support to the Strategic Director of Economy and the Department Management Team. This role is a unique opportunity to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment, where every day brings new challenges and opportunities for growth.

Role Responsibilities:

As an Executive Support Officer, your key responsibilities will include:

  • Serving as the first point of contact for the Strategic Director of Economy's office, residents, members, and partner organizations.
  • Establishing effective working relationships on behalf of the Strategic Director of Economy.
  • Ensuring the smooth operation of the office by maintaining systems, processes, and protocols.
  • Managing the inbox and responding to inquiries efficiently and effectively.
  • Coordinating and managing the diaries for the Strategic Director of Economy and the Department Management Team.
  • Organizing and supporting management boards, including agenda distribution and minute-taking.
  • Assisting in the organization of events, workshops, and engagements.
  • Handling inquiries from residents, local businesses, and partners with discretion and professionalism.
  • Taking on project work, research, and casework as required.

  • Understand local government and the role of Hammersmith & Fulham Council within the community.
