Working pattern : Monday to Friday
Hours : 8:30am – 4:30pm
Wanted a Receptionist /Administrator to join a much-respected national charity based at Head Office in central London. In this role you will be providing a welcoming front of house service to visitors and tenants, and a professional, customer-focused administrative service to colleagues. Ensure the comfort and safety of everyone using the premises. Foster a sense of community as part of the front of house and facilities team.
Role overview
- Provide central function services, including reception, mail distribution, meeting room support, travel booking, courier services, data entry, and general administration.
- Act as the first point of contact for clients and visitors, issuing security passes and coordinating deliveries.
- Monitor the shared mailbox, respond to enquiries, and direct colleagues and visitors.
- Operate the switchboard, ensuring callers receive high-quality assistance.
- Offer customer-focused administrative services, such as preparing documents, processing donations, and updating databases.
- Support administrative colleagues in other teams, linked to specific projects or programmes.
- Manage and maintain good housekeeping in the multi-functional space, ensuring cleanliness and replenishment of refreshments.
- Comply with data protection legislation.
- Provide ad hoc support during peak periods.
- Assist the Facilities function with the Fire Emergency Evacuation Plan and Health and Safety procedures, liaising with contractors and supporting maintenance work.
- Perform other duties as requested by the Front of House Manager, Building and Facilities Manager, or Executive Director of Finance and Resources.

- Experience with Microsoft packages, including Excel, Word, Teams, SharePoint, OneDrive, Outlook, PowerPoint
