Temporary Deputy Programme Manager required by a leading membership organisation based in the City of London. The post holder will assist the programme manager with the management and development of the organisation’s national clinical audit programmes, research/evaluation projects or multi-source feedback systems.  

This is an ONGOING TEMPORARY ROLE until September 2025 – hybrid working role (mix of office and home based working) – offices located in the City of London (TFL Zone 1). If successful after interview, this role will start in early Janaury 2025.

Pay rate - £19.19 to £21.12 per hour (PAYE).

Duties include:

  1. Supervise the project staff and assist in managing the teams’ workload. 
  2. Assist in developing and delivering project plans to ensure that individual projects meet their objectives and deadlines. 
  3. Help in managing all aspects of the project(s), which may include: 

    • Developing sampling methods and data collection tools 
    • Collecting and analysing qualitative and quantitative data from participating services developing methods and tools to enable measurement of performance against standards 

  • Producing local and national reports  
  • Planning and delivering events e.g. learning events, workshops. 

  1. Be prepared to travel across the UK if required. Overnight stays may be required for some visits and a certain level of flexibility is needed at periods of increased workload. 
  2. Assist in managing promotion and marketing to ensure continued growth of the projects. 
  3. Assist in the quality assurance process for the project against agreed standards, including the timeliness and quality of reports and meeting of deadlines. 
  4. Manage the day-to-day financial administration for the project (e.g. invoicing and expenses) and assist the Programme Manager with the budget management and monthly forecasts. 
  5. Assist in preparing and delivering workshops and presentations.
