Exciting Temporary Opportunity: Senior NNDR & Database Officer

We’ve teamed up with Hammersmith and Fulham Council to bring you an exciting temporary position as a Senior NNDR & Database Officer within the Finance & Corporate Services Department. This is your chance to make an impact in a dynamic role, supporting the efficient management of National Non-Domestic Rates (NNDR) while contributing to vital services within the Council.

This role will be mainly remote based

What You’ll Be Doing:
Database Leadership: Take ownership of the NNDR database, ensuring accuracy in liability assessments, exemptions, and reliefs.
Customer-Focused Service: Deliver top-tier support to our NNDR customers through various channels, enhancing satisfaction and building strong relationships.
End-to-End Process Management: Oversee everything from billing and collection to recovery and write-offs, ensuring the smooth running of NNDR services.
Court Support: Prepare evidence and assist in legal recovery actions, making a real difference in our financial processes.
Liaison Role: Collaborate with both internal teams and external partners, including the VOA and property inspectors, to ensure seamless operations.

What We’re Looking For:

NNDR Expertise: Strong knowledge of NNDR legislation and experience using the Academy database.
Excellent Communicator: Ability to break down complex legislative information for stakeholders, ensuring clarity and understanding.
